What can I say about these three pieces that the images don't say already? I produced these three pieces to be displayed together as a triptych about Greed and it's ever widening harmful effects.
All three center around a character I affectionately named The Death Pig. He's my personification of Greed and a fairly blunt one too. He plays rigged games, bring blinders to his employees and shares too little for them to survive. Embodied in the work are allusions to worker bees, those held down by The Death Pig rather than raised up, and the use of wheat grains as a form of currency.
I won't give away all the Easter Eggs and extra little details that these three works are full of but they share many common themes and cross-reference each other quite a bit. A huge part of enjoying my work is absorbing all the tiny little details in person. You won't regret this purchase :)
All three are created with gouache and ballpoint pen on illustration board, 7.5" x 9.5", framed up to 12" x 15" and ready to hang.
